Lake Buena Vista is literally at the foot of Walt Disney World.  This small but fabulous area is home to Downtown Disney.  Downtown Disney attracts millions of visitors and has many entertainment & shopping venues to enjoy.  So many in fact that you can spend many extra days in the area and not have enough time to enjoy them all. 

When Lake Buena Vista first came to be in the early 70's, there were just a few hotels on the west side of Route 535 along Hotel Plaza Blvd.  But over the decades, there area has sprawled to the east of route 528 which have encouraged many fine local hotels, restaurants, shops & attractions which provide many more options than where available just a few short years ago.  

For sporting activities, there are excellent golf courses within a couples of miles and just to the north there are a series of sand bottom lakes connected by canals which are a great source of recreation.  This area called Windermere just to the north is a highly desired placed to call home because of the winding streets and picturesque lake front homes and the peaceful old Florida lifestyle.
