Melbourne Beach
& Indialantic, FLA
 Indialantic
is found between the 518 Eau Gallie causeway and
the 192 Melbourne causeway on the beachside.
Along the ocean are a mix of waterfront homes,
condominiums, large and small hotels. Along
A-1-A, (major highway running north/south) there
are several small shopping centers that offer
boutiques and restaurants. There are also
condominiums and a few churches.
 Between
A-1-A and Riverside drive (the road that runs
along the Indian River) are a variety of single
family homes, ranging from gated communities like
the Sanctuary, non-gated communities like Rio
Villa, to the traditional CBS homes built in the
50's and 60's (which are
the majority).
Along the river are beautiful single family homes
offering spectacular sunsets.
  There
are several oceanfront parks, with a few that
offer snack bars, bathrooms and shops. The
smooth sandy bottom offers one of the best beaches
around. There is also a riverfront park and
a few other parks scattered about.
The schools are
highly rated, from the public schools to the
private Catholic school, which won the
"National School of Excellence Award".
  Melbourne
Beach is a wonderful beachside community with
excellent amenities. Supplying a
tropical setting, Melbourne Beach and the
communities south down to Sebastian offer their
residents a less hectic lifestyle. You'll
find two different golf communities, oceanfront
& riverfront condos, town homes, apartments
and some single family homes. Besides the
beach and the river, there are not many sporting
venues to speak of, however many are found just
over the causeway.
