Hollywood is located between Fort
Lauderdale & Miami. Ranked as one of
Florida's safest city, Hollywood offers all the
fun in the fun in the sun of a big city without
the traffic & overcrowding. It's also
home to Port Everglades, one of Florida's major
cruise ship terminal. One primary factor for
the success of Port Everglades is it's convenient
access to I-95 & the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood
International Airport just one mile away.
There
Let's start with the beach stretching
7-miles. Hollywood offers one of Florida's,
if not the only, oceanfront boardwalk, and was
awarded Florida's first "Blue Wave"
award for clean beaches!

Hollywood has a great collection of boutique shops
& galleries. The Harrison Street Design

Cultural Arts is favored in
Hollywood Florida. "The Art and Culture
Center of Hollywood" is a vibrant, regionally
distinct, contemporary visual and performing arts
organization offering visual art exhibitions,
theatre, music and dance performances.
On
the other side of town is the West Lake
Park Recreational Area. This 88 acre park
offers picnic areas, a biking/jogging path, tennis
and racquetball courts, volleyball areas, and a
playground. Canoes can be rented to explore the
350 acres of West Lake's open waters and three
canoe trails. A highlight nestled with the park is
the Anne Kolb Nature Center complex. There
is a 1,500+ acre coastal mangrove wetland that's
home to an abundance of plants and animals,
including some threatened and endangered species.
Five boat trails offer access to this wilderness
area for fishing and sightseeing. Sporting
activities are available year round. There
are several golf courses, sports-fishing and more!
